Today was a pretty productive day. My wife and I teamed up and cleaned out our master closet. We fought before deciding to tag team it, but it was a good fight, because in the end we got things done and we both agreed.

Then I paid an extra $500 on my student loan debt. Now it is down to $7260 and I am paying extra each month to hopefully have it paid off before the end of the year or by the time we have our second baby!

Anyhow, I felt really good about our day.

Today I finished painting a dresser that was handed down to my wife and I from my in-laws. It turned out great and I used a colonial red, which blends in well with my son's boyish red, blue, and white room. In all I felt really good about the project, we recycled, and it has a great rustic look. I told my wife tonight that I really feel like our house is really starting to come together. The next project I need to do to get ready for the baby is install a murphy bed cabinet in our basement so we can move our spare bedroom bed downstairs! Should be a fun project.
