Today the wife and I took the plunge and got Sunrocket VOIP phone service!! We got a one day awesome deal of $199 for 2 years of service! I always love a great deal and over two years this is going to save me $718.52!! I love saving money!!

The wife and I were able to go our first weekend in 2007 as a no spend weekend! This makes 13 days this year we had no spend days! We are really proud of ourselves so far! This has been a good goal to shoot for!

I saw that SunRocket offers a really competitive deal for VOIP phone, whichs is $199/year = $16.58/month and you get a free phone. Now that I got my upgraded internet I've been thinking it might be better to go with VOIP. What are people's thoughts?

Well I just upgraded my internet for free by signing a two year agreement with my DSL provider (Qwest). We went from 256 Kbps up to 1.5 Mbps!! They even waived the $9.99 activation fee. So again...if its free its me!!

Well the wife and I were able to go another day without spending on Wednesday. 11days in 2007! Yeppy!

On a board that is extremely frugal I was wondering who here shops at a natural/organic grocery story (i.e. Whole Foods) that is more expensive then say a Walmart or your local grocery store. I was just wondering how important it is for people eat health food despite it costing so much.

Today the wife, kid, and I cleaned the house while it was extremly cold outside! Also I got my raise notification in my paycheck which is going to increase my take home pay $53/week. I'm extremely thankful for my job and feel very blessed!

Also we were able to survive another day in 2007 without spending any money.

Other then that it was pretty much a boring Saturday. Tomorrow we are going to take a trip to Whole Foods, go to church, and maybe go for a five mile run.
