Today wasn't a good day. Wife's purse was stolen while she was working out at the gym. So we had to put locks on all our accounts, change checking account numbers, notify the fraud bureau, and all the credit reporting agencies. So overall it wasn't a good day.
Ran 4 miles today. 3 miles at a 7:23 pace and 1 mile at a 5:50 pace.
Spent too much money at Target on clothes needed for work - $101 and ate out at a local eatery.
Bad day - wife's purse stolen :(

Keep a good log of everyone you talk/report to...names, dates. Also keep the police report and case number. If the crooks do start using your wifes cards/checks/identity, this info will come in handy.
Good luck to you...

I bought one of those sturdy children's backpacks. You know, the solid color ones like blue, gray, black. None of those gaudy flashy ones. My wallet, housekeys, extra change of clothes, extra deoderant, mouthwash, etc. go in it. I carry it with me whenever I go out on my shopping trips. A backpack is so much easier to spot and keep up with than a purse or wallet which in my humble opinion, just about begs to be stolen.

Thieves love purses in cars, on the back of chairs at restaurants and in shopping carts.
You truly can't be too careful.
